Your individual presentation time includes five minutes of question time. The Chairperson for your session will be under strict instructions to keep to the allocated schedule.

Final Paper

Please submit your paper as soon as possible, and definitely before 15 September 2007.

Briefing Notes for Speakers and Audio Visual Form

Please find attached your VALA2008 Briefing Notes for Speakers which outline:

    * Format for preparation of papers

    * Deadline for receipt of full papers

    * Audio visual equipment available

Each presenting speaker is required to return the attached Speaker Audio Visual Form. Please complete all details on the form and return it to the Conference Office by 15 September 2007.

Speaker Presentation

We remind you that you take full public responsibility for the content of your presentation and that your paper must not be presented or published in full prior to the conference. You are required to sign a declaration that the paper submitted is your own work and has not been published elsewhere.

The author/s retain copyright, however VALA retains the right to publish your paper as its sees fit. Should your paper be published after the conference you must give due recognition to the VALA conference.

Each presenting speaker is required to return the attached Speaker Agreement Form. Please complete all details on this form and return it to the Conference Organisers by 15 September 2007.

Registration

The Main Announcement and Registration Brochure will provide further information on the VALA2008 programme and will be forwarded to you in August. All speakers are required to complete a registration form and are encouraged to return their form, with payment, prior to 30 November 2007 to take advantage of the Early Bird Registration.

A special speaker's registration fee has been established and provides a discount of $260.00 plus GST off your full registration fee (not applicable to day registrations). Please note that this discount is applicable to ONE presenter per paper. If you are co-presenting a paper, only one presenter may claim this discount. If you are only able to attend the conference on the day of your presentation, no registration fee will be payable; however you must still complete the registration form.

All conference communications will be sent to you as the contact author. It is your responsibility to forward all information to your co-authors.
